Shaping value that lasts
Shaping value that lasts means building a sustainable future for our business, our people, and the planet.
Sustainability has been part of who Beaulieu (the parent company of B.I.G. Yarns) is for years. We want to lead by example: reducing our environmental footprint, caring for the people and communities we touch, and doing business with transparency and integrity. While we adapt our framework, our group 2030 ambition and targets, as well as our actions and roadmaps, aligned with companies’ strategies, remain unchanged.
Close collaboration across our businesses and with partners, suppliers, and customers is essential to scale progress.
Clear governance keeps us accountable and helps us make measurable progress across everything we do.
Lead by example
As a company with a family heritage and culture, we believe that it is our responsibility to take a proactive role in seeking solutions to continuously improve the ecological footprint of our products. From design to production and distribution: every phase of our supply chain offers opportunities to protect the planet. We proudly invest in the long term, to develop products that serve our customers’ needs in the most sustainable way.
In alignment with Beaulieu’s sustainability roadmap, we are taking the necessary steps to achieve 100% renewable electricity in our operations by 2030.
- Our plants in Belgium and France partially utilize green electricity obtained through the acquisition of green certificates.
- In Belgium, the company independently generates energy with 2,400 solar panels.
- Furthermore, all our operations in China are exclusively powered by green electricity.
United Nations Sustainable Development Goal
At B.I.G Yarns, we fully commit to integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals into our business activities, by taking responsibility and bringing sustainable solutions into our core operations, creating value for our customers, and engaging employees and value chain partners.
