Global Recycled Standard (GRS)
Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) contain recycled content that has been (independently) verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. In addition, social, environmental, and chemical criteria related to processing are required.
REDcert² certified
The REDcert² standard is the new standard on the “Use of sustainable biomass for material purposes in the chemical industry.
EqoBalance yarns follow the biomass balance approach, which ensures that at the very start of the supply chain, natural renewable raw materials replace fossil resources in the production of polymers processed into yarns. By choosing these yarns, carpet tufters can contribute to a sustainable future through less use of fossil resources and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
EcoVadis Silver Sustainability Rating
B.I.G. Yarns earned its first Silver Medal and scored a 60/100, which places the company among the top 25 percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis. The highest performing sustainability assessment themes were "Environment" and "Labor & Human Rights".
EcoVadis is an independent platform, which allows companies to assess their CSR performance and share this with stakeholders within global supply chains. The EcoVadis process validates our sustainability commitments, practices and performance, and offers a clear roadmap for how we can continue to increase our impact over time.

Certification French Decree Industrial Plastics Granules
B.I.G. Yarns' French plant has been certified for compliance with the French decree regarding pellet losses in the environment. As the French government strengthened its fight against losses of industrial plastic pellets by law, it has become a legal requirement for facilities to adapt their equipment, particularly their collection systems, and to implement procedures to prevent these pellets to spread and protect the marine environment. (Decree on Industrial Plastics Granules no. 2021-461 of 16 April 2021.)

Voka Charter Sustainable Entrepeneurship
In 2020, B.I.G. Yarns started the journey of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals within its core activities. Thanks to the whole team, who took the time and effort to grow in sustainability, who analyzed data, highlighted opportunities, and implemented real changes.
In 2023, B.I.G. Yarns has been granted the Voka Charter for Sustainable Entrepreneurship 2022! Our sustainability journey has not ended yet. This is just the beginning.
ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System
The certificate validates the ongoing commitment to reduce the environmental impact of our production activities. The certification confirms that our production plants have an adequate Environmental Management System to control the environmental impact and to continually improve the environmental performance of our activities in a systematic, effective and sustainable way.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
The Beaulieu Yarns Quality Management System has been ISO 9001 certified since 1996.
At Beaulieu Yarns Weihai the Quality Management System has been ISO 9001 certified since 2016.
